Your donations can support students through scholarships and fellowships, research through department-supported centers and endowed programs, outstanding public lectures on emerging issues, and a variety of activities that enhance learning opportunities for our students. Your gifts, in any amount, truly make a difference for our students, faculty, and staff.
You can use the links below to learn more about giving opportunities in four broad areas. Each link identifies one or more funds to which you can contribute.
Contributions in support of our programs are made through the University of Minnesota Foundation and are fully tax deductible. Gifts can be made on a one-time basis, as a multi-year pledge, or in a variety of other ways, as described in the "Ways to Give" section. When making a gift, be sure to specify the fund you wish to support and mention the Department of Soil, Water & Climate. This will ensure that your gift will come to the department as intended. You may also want to check with your employer to see if they have a program to match charitable contributions.
