Keynote Speaker: Nolan Doesken 

Former Colorado State Climatologist, Nolan Doesken, was one of the founders of the citizen science network for collecting and reporting preciptiation across the country. His work was inspired by Earl Kuehnast and continues his engaging legacy. The Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network (CoCoRaHS) is a unique, non-profit, community-based network of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. By using low cost measurement tools, stressing training and education, they collect high quality data for natural resource, education, and research applications. Volunteers are in all 50 states and in Canada. Thousands of volunteers participate in the network.
