Ways to Connect
Founded in 2006, the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences Alumni Society has more than 3,400 members. All graduates, students and friends of the college are eligible for active membership in the Society.
The CFANS Mentor Program connects students with alumni and other professionals to explore career possibilities, learn how to network and enhance their professional skills. Each year we match over 150 students with professionals willing to share their expertise and advice. The program is open to freshmen through Ph.D students, and volunteer mentors are made up of both alumni and non-alumni professionals. Student career interest areas encompass a wide range, which include: Animal Science, Plant Science, Food Science and Nutrition, Agricultural and Food Business & Sales, Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife, Ag and Environmental Education, and much more.
The Profile is a weekly e-newsletter from the Department of Soil, Water, and Climate. Each week we feature information about our faculty, students, and alumni and their research along with news and events for the Department. You can read the most recent issue of The Profile here.
