I am from Saint Paul, MN. My interests (outside of rocks and soils) include anything to do with the outdoors: paddling, hiking, climbing, biking, etc.
My research interests range from volcanology and igneous geochemistry to pedology and carbon cycling. Recent work has focused on chemical weathering and hillslope processes, as well as global 'worming' in Minnesota and Sweden.
Research Areas include: Mineralogy, Chemical Weathering, Biogeochemistry, Pedology
