Methane is a potent greenhouse gas with natural and manmade sources. To better understand these sources near Shanghai, Prof. Timothy Griffis and collaborators took measurements from a tall tower in the Yangtze River Delta region. They found that seasonal changes in methane were caused by agricultural soils.
